1. Please review our Output Guidelines before sending files.

2. Fax completed Output Form and hard copy to 303.238.0405.

3. Call our Output Department at 303.238.2323 to let us know that you are sending a job electronically. Often files arrive without us knowing or expecting them. By calling and notifying us that you are sending a file, your file will be retrieved and processed quicker.

4. Send your file:

If your files are smaller than 10M you may e-mail them to our prepress department at carrie@colorline-usa.com.

For larger files up to 100 megabytes that you wish to send electronically, please upload them to our ftp site, otherwise we accept CDs, DVDs and USB flash drives, such as Mini Cruzers.

What is FTP?

File Transfer Protocol is optimized for the transport of large files. It is typically faster than e-mail and reduces internet corruption. For the PC, open a browser window and type ftp.colorline-usa.com. Type in the User Name and the Password when prompted and open up the Client folder (please contact us if you do not know your User Name and Password). From there, just drag and drop your files directly into the folder. IMPORTANT: Do not close windows or shut down computer once the upload process has begun until it is completed. Doing so will result in truncated or imcomplete files. For the Mac users, there is a variety of ftp shareware that you can download.

Please compress all of your individual files, including fonts into one archive. Files may be compressed using either Stuffit! for MacIntosh files or Winzip for PC files.
